'Life lessons from a sage'

TM Rajesh started his speech with a quote "Wisdom is the right use of knowledge" by Charles Spurgeon. Long ago, there lived a sage who thought his disciples Gopi, Nandu, Bola, Bheema and Nandu everything. He had a sacred verse with him which can bring dead back to life. He chose Gopi to be the cleverest among all and thought him the sacred verse. The disciples were sent to the forest for 40 days and on their way, Nandu found bones of an animal in the ground and tried to resemble it. It resembled a Tiger. Nandu gave flesh and blood to the animal. Gopi wanted to show his superiority and decided to use the sacred verse which will bring dead animal back to life. His fellow disciples warned him about the consequences of his action but he refused to listen and as a result tiger pounced on Gopi and he was on the clutches of the tiger. He concluded with a moral that knowledge is for the betterment of the people and if not utilized properly, it will destroy us.

'It is our process'

TM Sathish started his speech by sharing his experience of being in  bench  in an IT company and finding himself more often in cafeteria. With all hustle and bustle, entering into a project and handling a user of serious trouble is a tedious process. One of the users newly bought computer was under repair and hence he guided him to see 'my computer' icon in the desktop. The user couldn't figure it out, he further handled him with much patience and he came to know that the user hasn't switched on the PC yet, he lost his patience and told himself that intel inside and idiot outside. In an appraisal process, manager asked him about his role model in life , he told various answers like his uncle, one of his colleagues, friends etc. The Manager wasn't satisfied with his answer and finally he was put into a situation where he had to say that his manager was his role model. He concluded by saying that best speeches would be awarded with applauses.
