'Redefining moments’
TM Karthikeyan

TM PRASANA started his speech by sharing with us about two redefining moments in life... There was a girl who was a day dreamer and an imaginative person. She comes from a empty-handed family and started to work in a barber shop. Once a film director came to the shop for a hair cut and pointed out at her saying that she was beautiful and she was brimming with joy. He made a casual remark but it created a great impact in her. She approached the director for a chance to act and finally became a famous Swedish actress. He also came up with another story of a thief who was caught by the cops for his mischief. He was in his unconscious state during the investigation and he was told that he was dead. But he recollected the half a sentence “Amadeus toes are inverted in nature” uttered by an old man.  He responded to the investigation that he hasn’t committed any mistake and he was freed. He thanked the old man and he was transformed into a new person. In both the cases, they were redefining moments.

TM Vivek

TM Vijay started his speech by saying that it was in January, one fine Saturday at 7pm, he went to a corner Xerox shop to take photocopies of agenda. The shop owner, Tamizh provides high quality products with low cost and often the place was crowded. He owns a 2BH flat with 20 Sovran’s of gold and a happy family. When he enquired about Tamizh’s history, he came to know that he was an alcoholic addict 10 years ago. One night after consuming alcohol, he mistook Perungalathur railway station to be his house and slept there. His family left him and resided in their native place. Finally he convinced his family and promised that he will not drink. 10 years had passed and he still lives up to his promise.
