The 249^th Chennai Speaker Forum meeting was conducted on 30^th April’17, at Trust Conference Hall, Nungambakkam.

Meeting started at around 10 am.

10.00 A.M. SSA CALLS FOR MEETING.

Meeting was called to order by the Sergeant at Arms, TM Nagaraj , who explained the mission and vision of ToastMasters and control was handed to The President.

10.03 A.M. PRESIDENT ADDRESS.

President TM Siddarth set the tone for the meet and declared the meet open in his ever exhilarating tone.

10:07 A.M.- GUEST INTRODUCTIONS.

The President requested the guests to introduce themselves. Guests for the day were Guest TM Ganesh,Riya and Aravind.

10:10 A.M. – PRESIDING OFFICER INTRODUCED THE TMOD.

Presiding office TM Siddarth introduced the TMOD – TM Srikar , who briefed about the meeting and introduced the Theme and Word

10:15 A.M. – GENERAL EVALUATOR INTRODUCTION.

TMOD introduced the General Evaluator for the meet, TM Shriram , who explained his role and in turn announced the TAG Role Players of the day, as below

10:20 A.M. – PREPARED SPEECH SESSION

The Prepared Speech segment started with TMOD calling upon the below speakers to present their prepared speech ,after their evaluators had set the objectives for the projects

Its notable that The Roast by TM Karthikeyan was about none other than our VPE TM Shriram.

By the end of this segment, TMOD requested the gathering to vote for the best speaker and proceeded to the next segment.

10:50 A.M. – TABLE TOPIC SESSION

TMOD handed over the control to Table Topics Master for the day ,TM Janani.

TT session saw some fine topics and participation from most of the attendees present.

By the end of the TT session, control was handed back to TMOD.

11:25 A.M. – NEWSLETTER CONTEST

Newsletter contest was hosted by TM Bharathi Goel, who promised 2 free tickets to any movie of choice for the winners of the contest.

She quizzed the attendees on 5 questions based on the recently released CSF Newsletter and contestants were asked to write their answers discreetly on a piece of paper.

Winners of this contest are yet to be announced.

Control was handed back to TMOD ,who then called upon GE for the Evaluation Session.

11:35 A.M. – EVALUATION SESSION

The General Evaluator was called upon by the TMOD for an evaluation session. The GE and his team of evaluators presented their evaluations for all the prepared speeches.

All the evaluators for the prepared speeches gave bespoke feedbacks to the speakers.

After the evaluations were done, the control was handed back to GE.

11:40 A.M. – TAG TEAM & GE REPORT

GE requested the Tag role players to present their reports, which was later followed by the GE Report for the day.

GE noted that the meeting hall arrangements missed the display of clubs ribbons. He also noted that the Meeting attendance had gone low and requested those who attended the meet to be present at the venue, as early as 9:45 am.

The GE handed the control back to the President.

11:50 A.M. – GUESTS FEEDBACK

President requested guests for their feedback on the session. The guests liked the energy of CSF , they were impressed with the diverse backgrounds of the members and noted that the energy and synergy of talents from various fields ,make CSF sessions worthwhile and informative.

12:00 P.M. – MEETING ADJOURNED

The President made announcements on the upcoming 250^th CSF Meeting and the education sessions and milestone speeches that would be a part of the grand celebration which is scheduled to happen coming Sunday at Central Footwear Training Institute ,Guindy.

The President also recognized the first time CC Speakers.
